Venture Capital Company Nordic Option Oy Invests in Haltian
Haltian finalizes an investment round on 21st of December 2017. Nordic Option Oy – a finnish venture capital company invests in Haltian Oy together with earlier investors, such as Scripo Oy Vencubator. Haltian will use the funds to accelerate its IoT devices platform business called Thingsee.
Haltian was founded in 2012 by former Nokia team and has established it´s business as a boutique product development services company – collaborating with large companies and ambitious startups around the World. In addition to developing products and solutions to others, Haltian has invested in their IoT offering under the brand Thingsee. In November 2017 Haltian launched a new Thingsee IoT Devices platform. In pre-sales the platform has been able to gain interest from potential customers around the World. More than 70 enterprise customers are under negotiations, more than 25 pilots have been started and the first commercial devices are now in mass manufacturing.
