Oura
Haltian was Oura’s design and engineering partner for the 1st and 2nd generation rings, covering software, electronics, mechanical design and sourcing. The result: a titanium ring, water resistant to 100 m, that tracks sleep, activity and heart rate and runs up to seven days on a charge. Read how so much technology fit inside one small ring.
Valtamer
Valtamer wanted an Android tablet built from the ground up to work underwater. Its previous partner called the project impossible. Haltian took on the mechanical, antenna, electronics and software design, rebuilt the device when a key supplier went out of business, and delivered a tablet that works reliably at depths of up to 150 meters.
WhiffAway
WhiffAway and Haltian co-developed LooLights, an occupancy system for busy washrooms that lets cleaning follow actual usage instead of a fixed schedule, improving efficiency and reducing waste. The solution earned WhiffAway the IWFM Impact Award for innovation in Europe and is now in use at airports including DFW, JFK and BWI.

Battery-powered, wireless and connected devices. Our deepest expertise is in wearables, such as smart rings and biosensing devices, in portable devices, such as cameras, radios and field test equipment, and in industrial and rugged devices, including edge AI and embedded Linux devices. We also develop products that do not fit any existing category.
In Finland, in the EU, and we serve customers in more than 40 countries. We design for European requirements such as CE marking and the Cyber Resilience Act from the start, so regulation is built into your product, not added later.
A concept study typically takes 2–8 weeks, and productization 6–12 months. The concept study ends with a program plan that sets out the timeline for your product.
