Haltian board has invited Mikko Moilanen as CEO with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth

Mikko Moilanen has started as interim CEO at Haltian on August 23rd, 2024. He joined the company as an external advisor in June and now continues as CEO with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth. Former CEO Pasi Leipälä will continue as Haltian’s co-founder and senior advisor.

Under his leadership, Haltian has grown into one of the most important and interesting IoT competence companies in Europe. The company has accelerated services and products including applications to selected areas. We are now focusing even more on scaling up the go-to-market and sales where we can achieve growth. Pasi Leipälä and his team have built a company with a local and international presence that is the base for the future. I wish to sincerely thank Pasi for his contribution to building this company into what it is today, and I am very glad to see him continue contributing together with Mikko.’’ says Erik Hallberg, the Chairman of the Board.

Mikko has over 30 years of experience in various management positions in international and Finnish companies. He has worked as a CEO, board member, chairman, partner, senior manager, mentor, and executive advisor to several different companies and functions. Mikko has a strong track record of succeeding in leadership roles and valuable experience in various situations such as accelerating and driving focus on growth.
