Buildings Must Go Empathic – Future of Smart Office is here
Haltian and internationally-operating Nordic software and services company Tieto, have agreed a multiannual commercial cooperation concerning Tieto’s Empathic Building service. The smart office market is predicted to double in the next five years, and the shared offering of the two companies provides customers with a faster way of digitising their office facilities.
The story has been a long time in the making. The companies began first collaboration a few years back and after a series of pilots and integrations we are ready to agree on a long term commercial cooperation. Haltian will provide Tieto with Thingsee IoT Platform and devices that allow Tieto to scale and manage their Empathic Building service globally. Haltian’s Thingsee IoT platform is built on top of AWS cloud services.
Haltian will provide Tieto’s client facilities with sensor solutions that enable visualisation of, for example, data on the working conditions and the utilisation rate of the Empathic Building service. Setting up Haltian’s sensors have been made particularly straightforward, and they are delivered to the customer pre-connected to the service. The customer thus benefits from easier setup and cost-efficiency. In addition to Finland, Tieto’s Empathic Building service is already in use in Norway and Sweden. The companies will now aim at expanding together in international markets.
