Haltian event Thingsee IoT summit has gotten a new name: IoT Solutions Summit, and a new form as a virtual event! This years theme is Smart Buildings and Haltian will present our solution for making any building smart with IoT and digital twins. We will also showcase our new IoT products for the smart building sector.

Pasi Leipälä is the CEO and Co-founder of Haltian. In 2012, Pasi and his team at Nokia realized that all the engineering talent in Oulu, Finland should not go to waste, so the idea of a world-class technology company was born and realized. Before founding Haltian, Pasi had a career at Nokia of 15 years working in a variety of international technology and management roles. Pasi’s main target is to make IoT easy for everyone and create modern working environments all over the world. Outside work Pasi’s time is spent with family, friends, golf and motorcycles.

He has worked with global companies generating billions of euros to his customers.

With strong international career, leading sales and marketing teams, Janne looks after Haltian’s revenue growth. Prior to Haltian, Janne worked over 20 years in product management, marketing and sales, the majority of these years outside of Europe. Experience from publicly listed software and hardware companies, such as Nokia, BlackBerry and CDK Global, helps Janne to build sales teams, customer relationships, distributor channels and marketing, reaching Haltian’s audience. Working with customers and solving their problems with Haltian’s solutions makes every day exciting! Janne has MSc. in industrial engineering and studies for marketing in MSc, Economics.

Robbert Heekelaar, as VP, IT Architecture & Emerging Technologies, is responsible for the organizations IT architecture, but his core task is to establish and grow the new global Prologis Innovation Lab. Robbert is leading the establishment of an Innovation program involving leadership across Europe to drive a common approach to identifying, evaluating and implementing new technologies to benefit Prologis.
